Karen is CEO and owner of KGroover Consulting, LLC, established in 2011, where she implements an assortment of HCM solutions for her clients. She provided an add value approach by educating clients on “best practices” and daring them to thinking outside the box to truly implement and design the ideal HCM solution for their organization.
Karen believes in bringing your HR solutions to life. She has over 25 years of experience, specializing in performance management, employee relations, compensation, benefits, payroll, training and development. Her passion is providing solutions for clients by assisting them with cultivating their HR infrastructure through implementation, compliance, and personnel. She has an extensive background in planning and managing cross-functional business operations and technology projects. She is an analytical and a conceptual thinker who effectively partners with all levels of management to assess opportunities, facilitate strategic decisions, and drive successful implementation projects.
Clients gravitate toward the positive upbeat nature that Karen brings to every implementation. She possesses an innate ability to keep everyone engaged. This in turn allows her to drive projects to completion while maintaining timelines and staying on budget.
A native of Fayetteville, North Carolina, Karen possesses a Business Management degree from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Master of Human Resources Management from Strayer University. She is also certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR). Karen is also an active member of the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM) in the National, Atlanta, GA, Savannah, GA, Statesboro, GA and Jacksonville, FL chapters.
Karen earned a BBA from the University of North Carolina’s Kenan-Flagler School of Business and an MBA from Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management.
