Sandy Royden

Sandy Royden has more than three decades of experience as a healthcare and life sciences executive and entrepreneur, including 15 years in-house with major pharmaceutical organizations and 15 years leading pharma services businesses. She specializes in developing growth roadmaps and advising on both organic and inorganic growth strategies for companies in the pharma services space.

Sandy co-founded OPEN Health in 2011 and served as its Global COO until 2022. During her tenure, she defined and implemented organic growth and acquisition strategies that expanded the company to over 1,000 employees and scaled its global offerings—including medical communications, market access, and evidence-based solutions—across the UK, Europe, and the US. Sandy led OPEN Health through two successful sale processes, ultimately building a $1 billion enterprise before her departure in 2022.
Her career also includes other senior leadership roles such as European CEO at Huntsworth Health, Head of Healthcare Communications at Novartis, and Head of the Sanofi Foundation.

Sandy currently serves on the board of SCP portfolio company ADVI Health.
